About the Group

Chobham Art Group has been bringing local artists together for many years. We are a friendly, welcoming group open to painters, drawers, and printmakers of all abilities — from complete beginners to those with decades of experience.

Our regular Tuesday evening sessions are relaxed and informal. Members work on their own projects, share ideas, and offer feedback to one another. There are no set exercises or formal instruction, though more experienced members are always happy to offer guidance.

Twice a year we hold open exhibitions in the village, giving members the chance to show and sell their work to the local community. We also organise occasional painting days at outdoor locations around the Surrey Hills and beyond.

Membership is open year-round. There is a small annual fee which covers room hire and sundries. New members are welcome at any time — just come along on a Tuesday evening, or drop us a message first if you prefer.
